Editorial standards
GambleDude was founded in 2018 with a simple rule: every casino we list must be personally tested by a named reviewer. Real deposits, real bonus play, real withdrawal - before the site appears on this directory.
Reviewers receive a fixed salary. None of our scoring is tied to affiliate revenue. We accept commission when readers sign up via our links (declared on everyaffiliate-disclosed page), but the commission rate has no effect on rankings or scores.
If you spot an inaccuracy in a review, the byline links to the reviewer's profile - contact them directly via the GambleDude editorial inbox.
How we review casinos
Every score on GambleDude comes from the same eight-factor test, applied identically to casinos that pay us commission and casinos that do not. The eight factors: licensing and regulatory standing, bonus value and fairness of terms, game library breadth, software quality, withdrawal speed, mobile performance, customer support, and responsible gambling tools.
Real deposits, not screenshots
The assigned reviewer opens an account, deposits their own money, plays through the welcome bonus and requests a withdrawal before a single word of the review is written. That is the only way to learn what marketing pages hide: how long verification actually takes, which documents the KYC team asks for twice, and whether a "24-hour payout" claim survives contact with a real cash-out request.
Hands-on testing is then cross-checked against outside evidence. We read complaint records on independent dispute sites, verify licences against the UKGC, MGA and Curacao public registers, and run the bonus maths ourselves using the approach set out in our bonus EV methodology. A generous-looking offer buried under heavy wagering requirements scores worse than a modest one you can realistically clear.
Independence from affiliate deals
We earn commission when readers sign up through some of our links, and we document exactly how that works on ouraffiliate transparency page. What commission never buys is a score. Reviewers are salaried, have no visibility of commercial terms, and operators that fail our checks go on the rogue listregardless of what they would have paid. We also review and rank casinos we have no deal with at all.
Disagree with a rating? Challenge it
Every review carries a named byline, and every rating can be contested. If your experience at a casino contradicts our score, send the details through ourcontact page: dates, amounts and screenshots all help. We re-test when the evidence warrants it, and when a score changes we explain why in the review itself.
