Full GGPoker Review
GGPoker is the operator of the GG Network and the exclusive online platform for World Series of Poker bracelet events. Operated by NSUS Ltd, the platform offers some of the busiest tournament schedules online and the highest published rakeback ceiling in the industry (up to 80% at top VIP tiers). The product side is genuinely strong. The withdrawal-verification pattern documented across CasinoGuru, AskGamblers, and PokerStrategy.com forums is the most concerning we have seen in our entire poker review series.
External ratings, as of May 2026:
- CasinoGuru Safety Index: 4.9/10 ("Low"). 3 complaints with 8,701 black points. CasinoGuru explicitly recommends players "stay away from this casino and look for one with a higher Safety Index."
- TrustPilot: Mixed across 1,800+ reviews. Multiple reviewers allege "bot infestation" and "rigged deck." Bonus application issues common.
- AskGamblers: Multiple withdrawal complaint cases documented including a January 2026 $4,726.43 frozen account on the PokerOK skin (GG Network Russian/CIS market).
GambleDude rating: 6.5/10. Corrected down from a previous 9.5. The 3.0-point correction is the largest in our entire review series. We rate GGPoker at the same tier as BC.Game (6.5) and just above Rollbit (6.0) because the CasinoGuru "stay away" verdict and the documented withdrawal-blocking pattern place GGPoker in the same operational risk category as those casinos despite the WSOP brand ownership and strong poker product fundamentals.
The withdrawal-verification pattern (this is the headline)
Multiple independent sources document the same withdrawal verification sequence at GGPoker. This is not an isolated anecdote; it is a structural pattern in the public complaint record:
- Player requests withdrawal.
- Standard KYC documentation required (passport, proof of address). Player submits and verification is confirmed.
- Street video required (player filming themselves outdoors with ID). Player submits and verification is confirmed.
- 3-hour OBS gameplay video required. Player must use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) to record multiple hours of continuous gameplay.
- Withdrawal blocked indefinitely even after the OBS video is submitted in compliance with the request.
The 3-hour OBS gameplay video requirement is unusual to the point of being structurally predatory. No legitimate KYC framework requires multi-hour gameplay recording, and the requirement does not address any standard AML or identity verification need. The most plausible operational explanation is that the requirement functions as a deterrent that produces withdrawal abandonment.
Additionally, GGPoker reserves the right to enforce wagering requirements on deposited funds before allowing withdrawal, with the specific amount varying by case and not transparently published. This means a player can deposit, win, attempt to withdraw, and discover at withdrawal time that an unspecified wagering amount must be cleared first.
The complaint pattern
Specific documented case: A player's account at PokerOK (the Russian/CIS skin of the GG Network, sharing infrastructure with GGPoker) was frozen on January 31, 2026 with a balance of $4,726.43. The case follows the same pattern documented across the GG Network: multiple verification escalations, balance inaccessible.
TrustPilot allegations: Multiple TrustPilot reviewers across the 1,800+ review volume allege the platform is "infested with bots" and that the "deck is rigged for house advantage." These are player perception claims rather than independently verified facts, but the consistency of the allegations across many reviewers is itself a signal.
Bonus application issues: Players report difficulty getting bonus credits applied even after meeting stated wagering requirements.
Customer support gap: Lack of live chat support is a recurring complaint.
What GGPoker does well (the case for keeping listed)
WSOP brand ownership. NSUS Ltd owns the World Series of Poker brand. GGPoker is the exclusive online platform for WSOP Online bracelet events and official satellites to the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas. For competitive poker players who specifically want WSOP bracelets, this is the only platform option.
Ocean Rewards loyalty program (January 2026). Replaced the previous Fish Buffet program. Up to 80% rakeback at top VIP tiers (60% at Dolphin, 70% at Whale, 80% at Shark). Tier status guaranteed for one year. This is the highest published rakeback ceiling in the online poker industry.
Tournament traffic. Daily guarantees across multiple stake levels. GGMasters series, Omaholic Series, WSOP Online events. Among the busiest tournament schedules online globally.
Software performance. The GG client is stable during peak tournament hours and supports modern multi-table features.
Withdrawal speed (when not blocked). 24-72 hours for e-wallet methods. Bank and card transfers up to 3 business days. The "when not blocked" qualifier is critical.
Welcome bonus
New players choose between two welcome bonus structures:
- Option 1: $100 in rewards (mix of Spin & Gold tournament tickets and Cash Game Dollars, released gradually as you play).
- Option 2: 100% deposit match up to $600. Released in $1 chunks for every $5 paid in net rake or tournament fees. 90 days to unlock the full amount.
Both structures are effectively rakeback programs presented as welcome bonuses. The 90-day unlock window on Option 2 is reasonable; the $5 of rake per $1 of bonus release means casual players will not clear the full $600 in that window.
Operator and licensing
- Operator: NSUS Ltd
- WSOP partnership: Exclusive global partner (NSUS owns WSOP brand)
- Network: GG Network, with sister skins including PokerOK for Russian/CIS market
- Licensing: Multiple jurisdictions; specific license details require verification per market
Who GGPoker is for, and who should choose elsewhere
GGPoker may be a reasonable choice for:
- Competitive poker players specifically targeting WSOP Online bracelet events (no alternative platform offers this)
- High-volume players who can realistically reach Whale or Shark VIP tiers to access 70-80% rakeback
- Tournament players who value the daily guarantees and series scheduling
- Players who are prepared for the documented withdrawal verification sequence and willing to comply
GGPoker is not the right choice if:
- You expect a standard withdrawal experience. The OBS gameplay video requirement is real and documented.
- You weight CasinoGuru safety ratings heavily. The "stay away" verdict at 4.9 Safety Index is unambiguous.
- You're a casual recreational player. The withdrawal friction is disproportionate to typical casual play volume.
- You're considering depositing substantial sums. The unspecified pre-withdrawal wagering requirement and the verification pattern create real risk.
- You play primarily on the PokerOK skin (Russian/CIS market). Documented account-freezing cases on that infrastructure.
For alternatives in the online poker space: PokerStars is the largest player pool with stronger CasinoGuru ratings (7.1 vs GGPoker's 4.9). 888poker is a UKGC-licensed option with smaller traffic but cleaner record. partypoker offers an Entain-owned alternative.
One last thing before you deposit at GGPoker
GGPoker is the WSOP exclusive platform with industry-leading rakeback and busy tournament schedules. It is also a casino where CasinoGuru tells players to stay away, where multiple sources document a 3-hour OBS gameplay video requirement for withdrawals, and where the rating is the same tier as casinos we have rated in the bottom third of our keep list.
If you deposit, deposit only what you can afford to lose entirely. Treat any winnings above a few hundred dollars as at material risk through the withdrawal verification process. Keep all KYC documentation organized and proactive. And understand that if a withdrawal is blocked, the available dispute paths are limited by the GG Network's complaint mediation record.
